I would like to recommend Orahovac for those people who want to get away from the hustle of everyday life and who travel with little children.
We had been staying there just for 5 days, but I can say for sure that we managed to fell in love with this little settlement in Kotor bay in such a short time.
Orahovac has pebble beaches, they are not very large, but you can always find a place for you! Water in the Adriatic sea is VERY CLEAR and beautiful! The views to the mountains and sea will definitely fascinate you!!!
As for the stores, we could see just two. They are very small, but you can find almost everything you need inside. Usually we bought there fresh bread, eggs, vegetables and fruits, prshut - a traditional meat of Montenegro, wine Vranac, etc. The products are good and better than in Russia)
I would like to recommend a restaurant “Veranda”. An average check there is 25-30 euros for two persons. A food at this restaurant is really very very TASTY, that’s why we went there every day for a dinner. Most of all we liked Jagnjetina ispod saa (lamb with potato), Riblja corba (fish soup), Mesano meso (an enormous portion of different kinds of meat), Shopsky salad, got cheese, palachinke (traditional pancakes).
All portions are really very large! For example, Mesano meso will be good enough for two adults.
Orahovac is a very quiet place, there are no any discos and noisy bars, so you can sleep well without fearing to be disturbed by somebody or something).
So, if you are wishing to have a relaxing break away from the noisy city, Orahovac will be an ideal location for you!
